My Father ...
Regardless of what anyone says, there are but two important milestones in a person's life – birth and death. And, what matters most is how one fills the time in between. I have always thought that kindness, honesty, the willing to give of one's self, and a sense of humor were the best ways to make use of the very short time any one of us has. This I learned from my father. In times of trouble he was there to lend a helping hand. In good times he was quick with a joke and in trying times, well, he taught me the virtue of patience.
My dad enjoyed the simpler things that life had to offer such as time with his family, a beautiful spring day, dipping his feet in the ocean, or tending to his garden. Simplicity ... a beautiful path that so many seem to ignore on their journey through life.
Thanks for the memories. Sadly missed by your loving wife, Marlene Breakwell, your son, Bob "Bobby" Breakwell and family, and daughter and son-in-law, Nanci and Mike Gorden.
