May Events at Beth Israel Center Synagogue

Beth Israel Center Synagogue, located at 118 Gill Hall Road at the border of Pleasant Hills and Jefferson Hills, is a small but active Conservative congregation. We have just completed our lecture series for the season with our final evening
featuring Jon Delano from KDKA.

This year's excellent lectures were sponsored by Bill and Louise Hunt in memory of Roy and Judy Joseph. We are looking forward to our new season beginning in the fall. All lectures are free and open to the public.

We recently had a spectacular stained glass panel installed in our Eli Grossman sanctuary. The panel is the first of six to be designed and crafted by Irving Latterman, an extremely talented member of the synagogue. The members of the synagogue are grateful to have these symbolic panels enhancing our place of worship and wish to thank Mr. Latterman for his dedication to this extraordinary project.

A hearty Mazel Tov is wished Rabbis Alex and Amy Greenbaum on the May 5 Bar Mitzvah of their son Harrison Shea.

Friday Night Service on May 18, 7: 30 p.m. will be conducted by Rabbi Amy Greenbaum and features the Bat Mitzvah service of Mallory Weiss.
