The April meeting of the Valley Seniors Club was brought to order and chaired by Joan McCluskey, as Marlene Owens was unavailable. Attendance was taken by Madeline Pierce in the absence of Fred Owens. The treasurer's report was read by Toni Young and a request was made to have dues paid by June 1.
The members reported that they enjoyed themselves at the Rivers Casino. The Jonah trip to Lancaster County will take place on June 12 - 13 and payments should have been made by April 30.
On August 9, a trip is being planned to Ohio for the Amish Brown Bag Tour and deposits should be made ASAP. Any information for all trips and meetings can be obtained by calling Marlene Owens at 724-258-3950
The members agreed to have a July covered dish picnic and plans will be made at the May meeting. Madeline Pierce conducted the drawings and announced that Gloria Miller won the tip board award and Shirley Vickers and Ann Kelly shared half the take.
