Boy Scout Troop 510 of South Park collected non-perishable food items during the month of April for Scouting For Food. They collected 26 boxes of food containing 495 items.
The donations were delivered to the Finleyville Food Pantry on April 23 and May 3. The scouts have had a busy month of May. Several boys attended Challenging Outdoor Personal Experience (COPE) at Camp Guyasuta, where they learned problem solving, trust, and team building so they could do climbing and rappelling.
