Bring a chair or a blanket for some summer fun under the stars! Mounds Park, located off of 4th Street in Monongahela, will be the site of a summer film series on Wednesdays at dusk (rain date the following Thursday).
Dates include: June 27, I Bought a Zoo; July 11, Super 8; July 25, The Last Song; August 8, Dolphin Tale; August 22, The Sandlot. A 16-ft., big screen will give the feel of a mini drive-in. This free event is just the thing to wind down a hot summer day. Monongahela Area Revitalization Corp is the sponsor and will offer all the traditional movie treats and refreshments for a reasonable cost. Join us on the grass for some “cooool” summer fun!
