American Legion School Awards Presented

Winners of the American Legion School Awards were announced at the awards assembly at Ringgold Middle School Wednesday June 6. This year’s recipients are Adam Hrycko, son of Joseph and Nannette Hrycko of Finleyville, and Allison Martin, daughter of George and Stephanie of Finleyville.

The American Legion Award places emphasis on the development of the qualities of courage, honor, leadership, patriotism, scholarship and service and recognizes the boy and girl who are most worthy of the highest qualities of citizenship and of true Americanism. The awards were presented by Chuck Ringling, Ruffo Proviano, Robert Jones, and Ralph Muller of the American Legion Post #613, Finleyville.
