Seniors for Safe Driving presents a highway safety education program for Seniors 55 years of age and older on August 22 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Paramount Senior Living in Bethel Park. The highway safety programs are certified by the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation. The successful completion of the program makes seniors eligible for a 5% discount on their automobile insurance premiums, across the board, for a period of three years. The discount is mandated by Pennsylvania state law.
Also mandated by Pennsylvania State Law, if you have never participated in a senior driving program before, you must attend a two-day program.
