The cooler evenings are just a hint that autumn is soon to arrive. Start pulling out the sweaters and light jackets. August was great for “Forever Young,” and September plans are in the works.
On August 21, we had a return visit from 18-year-old Carmen Lopresti, who entertained us with a medley of songs. The August 28 annual indoor picnic was a great success thanks to the wonderful members of Forever Young.
Our regular Tuesday get-togethers in September will be on the 4th, 11th and 18th. Doors open at 10 a.m., and catered lunches will be served at noon. On September 25, we’ll enjoy a covered dish dinner chaired by Rosemarie Zrimsek.
Happy September birthdays to Marabelle Connor and Nora Smolick.
