The 2010 Bentleyville Camp will be held July 9 – 18. A Dan Schall concert on Friday, July 9 at 7:00 PM opens the 143rd year of Camp Meeting.
Bentleyville Camp is a retreat like no other. Located in southwestern Pennsylvania, this historic camp site holds Christian based camp meetings each July for nine days. It was established in 1867, a short time after the Civil War. The campground has a timeless appeal with distinctive old cottages, a hotel that offers home cooked meals, and a cathedral style pavilion notable both for its interesting structure and its seating capacity of five hundred.
During camp meeting, several daily services provide inspiring, Biblically based messages. Children who come with their parents meet together with Nicole Growden every morning and afternoon for their own special activities.
The youth program, directed by Brad & Paula Lowery, offers spiritual, recreational and social activities throughout the day and teens may stay in the dormitories for a reasonable fee.
Visitors are encouraged to make this camp a yearly tradition. With its enduring vitality, Bentleyville camp remains committed to meeting the spiritual needs of people in an environment that promotes relaxation and lasting memories.
